Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society- Premier’s International Scholarship

  Posted on: February 4, 2014

Through the use of annual returns on a $13 million endowment provided by the Province of British Columbia, the Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society (“the Society”) manages a suite of international scholarship programs designed to assist students to participate in academic, cultural, language or experiential study programs outside of Canada and the United States. In delivering these programs, the Society hopes to encourage students who are intellectually curious and are interested in expanding their educational experiences while at the same time developing a globally literate citizenry and workforce for B.C.

Students may self-select to be considered by the Society for higher value Premier’s International Scholarships which are valued at between $6,000 and $10,000.  Whereas, the One World is awarded on a competitive basis (GPA based) and adjudicated by each institute for our own TRU students.
