Note: Early deadline date. Applications to study abroad with FH Joanneum, Austria for either Fall 2019 or Winter 2020 (or both semesters) need to be submitted by January 17th, 2019 to be eligible for this grant opportunity.
The Austrian ministry of science and research offers the ERNST MACH grant for all students with a non-European citizenship who plan to go for fall 2019 or spring 2020. This grant would open the study abroad opportunity also for students who would normally not have the necessary financial background. With 1050 Euro a month (over $1,500 Cdn), this grant allows students to cover all their costs.
There is only one call per year. The minimum duration of the grant is 3 months, the maximum is 10 months.
FH Joanneum usually supports a maximum of 6-8 candidates per partner university. The chances to get this grant are quite good if students submit a complete and thoughtful application.
