Kanagawa University, one of TRU’s newest exchange partners, is pleased to offer the Yoneda Yoshimori Education Scholarship for Exchange Students.
The amount is 50,000 JPY per month (approximately $625 Canadian per month). TRU students studying on exchange for 1 semester can receive 4 months of funding ($2500 Cdn), and those studying for a full year can receive 10 months of funding ($6250 Cdn).
Kanagawa’s main campus is located in Yokohama, a thriving port city with easy transportation links to Tokyo. The history of Kanagawa University dates back to 1928, and since then it has grown into one of Japan’s leading institutions of higher education, with a total of 20,000 students in its seven undergraduate faculties, nine graduate schools, and affiliated junior and senior high schools, and over 220,000 alumni active in every field. To this day, the University remains committed to nurturing excellence, and to the solid educational principles that support this tradition, as it prepares graduates to make a contribution in the real world.
